About Me
As a lacrosse player I represented Team England in two World Championships, winning a Bronze Medal against Canada in 2007, before moving to the US to complete my studies and play for the University of Virginia. After leaving university with a B.A. in Music, I plied my trade at the prestigious New York Athletic Club and more recently professional outfit Boston Storm with the United Womenβs Lacrosse League.
After hanging up my cleats in 2017 I turned my attention to a new passion - an interest in the benefits of personal training and motivational group fitness led me to train as a cycling instructor at the Handle Bar Indoor Cycling Studio in Boston and compete in the 2018 Boston Marathon, before returning to London to pursue a career in fitness full-time and compete in the 2019 London Marathon.
On my return I was invited to take up consultancy position at David Lloyd Clubs as Head of Cycle, and led the development of their own rhythm-based indoor cycling programme whilst completing my NASM Level 2 & 3 PT and Pre & Post Natal Training qualification.
From 2019-2021 I worked as an instructor in London for the prestigious SoulCycle and from there moved into a Head of Ride role at Digme Fitness, where I focused on talent acquisition and mentoring current and new instructors.
Early in the pandemic I was forced to set up an online community (SWC) where I could continue to bring people together through the power of movement and we have never slowed down, until September 2023 when I welcomed my daughter Florence into the world!
As a fitness coach, being pregnant was a fascinating journey for me. As well as my body having a new role, I also had a new role in my work: to reassure and educate women on the endless benefits of exercise during pregnancy. As a pre and post natal personal trainer, I already knew of the uncertainty and barriers many women experience towards exercise when pregnant. So in early pregnancy I threw myself into creating a virtual prenatal fitness and wellness programme, The Empower Pregnancy Plan, to help pregnant women stay fit and feel empowered and motivated in their journey to motherhood and beyond!
My goal? To bring a little movement and infectious energy into your day, so that you can feel the most confident and best version of yourself. Anything is possible!
